Oh, yes he did!

I hate shopping.  Can't stand it.  I hate browsing through the endless aisles of clothes that may or may not fit, that may or may not be the right color, that may or may not cost more than my annual income.  I hate shopping.  The End.

You knew it wasn't the end, right?

When I was selected to audition for Listen To Your Mother, I spent an entire evening picking out just the right clothes that I was sure would get me cast in the show.  It worked, but it was a miserable evening to be sure.

Sorry for the poor picture -
I had just tumbled out of bed!
When I was chosen to be in the show, I was thrilled then immediately apprehensive: What would I wear?

I have spent the last six weeks pondering just that question.  Finally, last weekend, my own momma and I went and picked out an outfit.  It's cute and I like it, but I kept picturing just a little something different in my head.   Last week, when The Dad and I finally made it to bed at almost midnight, I mentioned to him that I was feeling led to change up the outfit just a smidgen.  I'm not sure who was leading me... maybe the mystic powers of Stacy London??

He looked at me with half-drooped eyes and said, "I haven't even seen you Listen To Your Mother outfit."

Wha--??  Well, let's remedy that.  At almost midnight, I hopped right out of bed and modeled the outfit for him to which he replied, "It looks a little bit frumpy."

Well... look who's going all Metro on me.

I didn't sleep for  at least two hours, and only after I finally convinced him to join me at the mall Friday night and pick out something less frumpy.  Friday night at the mall?  I was sleep deprived, y'all!

Wanna know what I'm wearing for the show this afternoon?  You'll have to come to the show and see! Or, you can wait until Wednesday when I post my after-show thoughts... but I hope to see you this afternoon!

Don't forget - the first one to find me after the show gets a fantabulous gift bag!
