When I'm not shamelessly plugging my own writing, I'm a public school teacher / elementary librarian ( FORMER elementary librarian as of this coming Thursday! ). I love to teach, but - believe me when I say this: I LOVE summer even more!! Summer is my time to sit back and relax and sleep late and read for (get this) FUN!
Therefore, in celebration of summer and reading for fun, I'm giving away a book for every month during summer break! And let me assure you that this summer, some of my favorite authors have some new books coming out and YOU'LL get a chance to win those!
For my first give away, I'm giving away a copy of My Fair Lazy by Jen Lancaster. I really enjoy reading Jen's sharp wit in her memoirs and was so excited to hear that Jen's first fiction novel just came out!! I've yet to read it, though; I'm sure it's just as ha-ha funny as her earlier writings! Oh, and by the way, even though she doesn't really *know* me, I'm sure she'd insist I call her Jen anyway!
