You Can't Take Us Anywhere

A few years ago, my mom starred in a movie that was filmed right here in our home town. (I use the term "starred" loosely.) Then a few months after that, I had to go to the gynecologist and I ended up being a cast photographer. Sorta. The movie, To The Wonder, took over our little city. Everyone got to be a part of it in one way or another. Our friends, Dawn and Brad, who own a pecan grove (Look over there on the left ... buy your pecans from Schaper Farms!) had the film crew in one of their groves for about three days or so. Brad got to visit with the whole cast. Their younger son told Ben Affleck that he was kind of getting fed up with all the hooplah. Ben laughed.

This week, the film debuted and had a premier right here in our own town. Brad called us up and asked if we wanted to go see his nuts on the big screen with him and Dawn. We did! We did want to see Brad's nuts on the big screen!
