The Daughters: Will we have a microphone?

Me: Probably not.

The Daughters: How will they hear us?

Me: KC will probably have a hand-held and you should just speak loudly.

Later than morning as we're all--even The Daughters--being mic'd for our segment

Daughter 2: So, if he asks me a question, I can answer him?

Me: Yes, please do.

Daughter 2: Can I use more than one word?

Me: That'd be appropriate.

Daughter 2: Can I also sing a song if the music just comes to me?
