Have I told you lately just how amazing my Listen To Your Mother experience was? Well, it was just so amazing. Probably the best part of the whole dream that was LTYM was the way cool people I met. Today, I'm want to introduce you to one of those way cool people.
Meet Gwen Rockwood. Gwen was nothing short of sweet and kind and, if memory serves me correctly, she brought cupcakes to our read through. I know! How can you not love the bearer of cupcakes?
Gwen's LTYM piece was called "Are We Done Yet," in which she discusses every mother's small voice that nags her about being done having kids. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... the small voice is totally silent during road trips, birthday parties and Hellmart tantrums. But still, the voice can be nagging.
Fun news for those of us who love Gwen: She's got a book out! Reporting Live From The Laundry Pile (also available from B&N) is a compilation of Gwen's essays which will leave you smiling, nodding your head in agreement and wondering where Gwen has been all your life.
Today, Gwen and I are giving away two (2), signed copies of her book to two (2) of my readers. That just shows you that Gwen is twice as sweet as your average Mother.
To win of a copy of this fabulous book for yourself, all you have to do is leave a comment below answering these questions. There are three questions, so enter three times!
- How many loads of laundry do you do during an average week?
- What's the strangest thing you've ever found in your laundry?
- What's the sexiest thing in your laundry hamper right now?
