"Honey," Brian called to me from the front bathroom, "You feeling okay?"
"Yeah," I hollered back from the back bathroom waiting for him to bring me some toilet paper because I was left with my undried girl-parts dripping, "Just waiting on the toilet paper."
"Well," he hollered back, "I'm worried about you. You sure you're doing alright?"
I rolled my eyes. Why? Why in the world did he insist on having a silly conversation when all I needed him to do was bring me a roll of toilet paper? I just needed toilet paper. Was it too much for a momma to ask for some toilet paper and get it in a timely manner? No. It's not too much.

Flashback Friday: I blame Aerosmith
I was a sophomore in college and my last Friday class was cancelled. This meant, I was headed home by 10:00 that morning. (Gawd, I miss college schedules!) I threw my laundry together and dug through my dorm room for twenty-five cents for tolls. I found five nickels. I grabbed my cassingle of "Janie's Got A Gun," and I headed home.

Where Are You?
This summer, The Dad bought a natural gas truck. Since he drives an hour to from work everyday, our fuel budget for The Dad has gone from well over $300 a month to $80 a month! (Can I get an AMEN?!!?) Plus, natural gas burns cleaner and is great for the environment. (Can I get a GROOVY, MAN!!??!)

Another Dimension of Time & Toilets
While shopping for an elusive and particular pair of shorts for picky Daughter 1, we discovered a fairly large thrift shop. Since I wasn’t even certain that the shorts Daughter 1 was looking for even existed outside of her little imagination, it couldn’t hurt to check out the store. So, right after lunch, we got busy browsing. And then, we got busy having to tinkle.
