Hello, Wisconsin!

After we rode the rides that made me question my existence at Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells, we spent the next day at the water park where The Daughters slid down water slide after water slide, and I shamelessly flipped from front to back and then to front again every lifeguard change.  I like water slides, I do; I just like sitting around doing nothing in the sun more.

My fabulous Aunt Kay texted me this week and told me about a cool contest that The View is hosting.  I don't typically watch The View because I'm teaching during that time.  My aunt, however, is an aficionado of The View.  So when she texted about this contest and said she thought I should enter, I completely believed her!  (If I win that Disney cruise for four, you can bet your sweet petunias my fabulous Aunt Kay will be getting a post card from one of our port-destinations.  She sure will!)

Because I have been chosen to be a part of the cast of Listen To Your Mother (yea!), I also got to make my News On 6 debut.  This was going to be great exposure to my writing!

And great exposure it was.

The Natural State

Saturday, The Family traveled to Arkansas so that I could audition for Listen To Your Mother - NWA.  Our original plans were to leave after the audition and go south to see The Dad's folks.   Those plans changed, and we found ourselves spending the whole, glorious, beautiful day in Arkansas.
